摘 要:随着高等教育从精英化向大众化转变,大学通识教育课程改革成为提升学生综合素质的重要抓手。本研究以我国某“双一流”高校为案例,通过问卷调查、深度访谈和数据分析等方法,探讨通识教育课程体系优化对学生综合能力发展的影响。研究发现,通过构建跨学科课程模块、强化实践教学环节以及引入多元化评价机制,能够显著促进学生的批判性思维、创新能力和社会责任感等核心素养的提升。此外,研究创新性地提出了“全人发展指数”作为评估学生综合素质的新指标,并验证了其在实际应用中的有效性。结果表明,经过改革后的通识教育课程显著提高了学生的知识整合能力和终身学习意识,为高校推进素质教育提供了可借鉴的经验。本研究的主要贡献在于明确了通识教育改革的关键路径,并为相关政策制定提供了实证支持,进一步推动了高等教育人才培养模式的转型升级。

Reform of General Education Courses in Universities and Enhancement of Students' Comprehensive Quality

Abstract:As higher education transitions from elitism to massification, reforming general education curricula has become a critical approach to enhancing students' overall quality. This study investigates the impact of optimizing general education course systems on the development of students' comprehensive abilities, using a "Double First-Class" university in China as a case study and employing methods such as questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and data analysis. The findings indicate that constructing interdisciplinary course modules, strengthening practical teaching components, and introducing diversified evaluation mechanisms can significantly promote the improvement of core competencies such as critical thinking, innovation ability, and social responsibility. Additionally, this research innovatively proposes the "Holistic Development Index" as a new indicator for assessing students' overall quality and verifies its effectiveness in practical applications. The results demonstrate that the reformed general education curriculum substantially enhances students' knowledge integration capabilities and lifelong learning awareness, providing replicable experiences for universities promoting quality-oriented education. The primary contribution of this study lies in clarifying the key pathways for reforming general education and offering empirical support for relevant policy formulation, further facilitating the transformation and upgrading of talent cultivation models in higher education.
