摘  要:随着全球化进程的加速,体育赛事作为城市形象塑造与经济发展的重要推动力,逐渐成为学术研究的热点领域本研究以体育赛事对城市形象提升与经济发展的双重作用为切入点,在系统梳理相关理论的基础上,结合案例分析与定量评估方法,选取具有代表性的国际及国内赛事进行深入探讨研究发现,大型体育赛事能够通过媒体传播、基础设施建设及文化旅游等多维度显著提升城市的国际知名度与吸引力,并在短期内刺激消费增长、创造就业机会,同时带动长期产业结构优化此外,本研究创新性地构建了体育赛事综合效益评估模型,将社会文化影响纳入量化分析框架,弥补了传统研究中对非经济因素关注不足的局限性研究表明,赛事的成功举办需充分考虑城市定位、资源禀赋与可持续发展目标,强调赛事效应的最大化应建立在科学规划与多方协作之上总体而言,本研究不仅深化了对体育赛事综合效益的理解,还为城市决策者提供了实践指导,具有重要的理论价值与现实意义

Analysis of the Role of Sports Events in Enhancing Urban Image and Promoting Economic Development

Abstract:With the acceleration of globalization, sports events have increasingly become a focal area of academic research due to their significant role in shaping urban images and promoting economic development. This study examines the dual effects of sports events on urban image enhancement and economic growth by systematically reviewing relevant theories and combining case analysis with quantitative evaluation methods. Representative international and domestic events were selected for in-depth exploration. The findings indicate that large-scale sports events can substantially elevate a city's international profile and appeal through multiple dimensions such as media coverage, infrastructure development, and cultural tourism, while stimulating short-term consumption growth and job creation, and facilitating long-term structural optimization of industries. Additionally, this study innovatively develops a comprehensive benefit assessment model for sports events, incorporating socio-cultural impacts into a quantifiable analytical fr amework, thereby addressing the limitation of traditional research that underestimates non-economic factors. The results demonstrate that the successful hosting of events requires thorough consideration of urban positioning, resource endowments, and sustainable development goals, emphasizing that maximizing event effects should be based on scientific planning and multi-party collaboration. Overall, this study not only deepens the understanding of the comprehensive benefits of sports events but also provides practical guidance for urban policymakers, showcasing both theoretical significance and practical implications.
