英语教育中的自主学习能力培养



摘  要:在全球化背景下,英语作为国际通用语言在跨文化交流与经济合作中发挥着至关重要的作用,而传统英语教学模式往往以教师为中心,忽视了学生自主学习能力的培养。本研究旨在探讨如何通过系统化的教学设计和策略干预提升学生的英语自主学习能力。研究采用混合研究方法,结合问卷调查、深度访谈以及实验对比分析,选取某高校非英语专业本科生为研究对象,历时一年进行跟踪观察。结果显示,经过针对性的教学干预,实验组学生的自主学习意识显著增强,学习策略运用更加灵活多样,英语综合能力也得到了明显提升。此外,研究发现技术支持的学习环境和个性化的学习计划对促进自主学习具有重要作用。本研究的创新点在于将自主学习理论与具体教学实践相结合,并提出了一个可操作性强的自主学习能力培养框架,为英语教育改革提供了新的思路和参考依据。研究结论表明,培养学生的自主学习能力不仅有助于提高英语学习效果,还能促进其终身学习能力的发展,从而更好地适应未来社会的需求。

Cultivating Autonomous Learning Ability in English Education

Abstract:In the context of globalization, English, as an international lingua franca, plays a critical role in intercultural communication and economic cooperation; however, traditional English teaching models often adopt a teacher-centered approach, neglecting the cultivation of students' autonomous learning abilities. This study aims to explore how systematic instructional design and strategic interventions can enhance students' English autonomous learning capabilities. A mixed-methods research approach was employed, integrating questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and experimental comparative analysis, with non-English major undergraduates from a university serving as participants, tracked over a one-year period. The findings indicate that following targeted instructional interventions, the experimental group demonstrated a significant increase in autonomous learning awareness, more flexible and diverse application of learning strategies, and a marked improvement in overall English proficiency. Additionally, the study reveals that technology-supported learning environments and personalized learning plans play crucial roles in promoting autonomous learning. The innovation of this research lies in its integration of autonomous learning theory with concrete teaching practices, proposing a highly operational fr amework for fostering autonomous learning abilities, thereby providing new insights and reference points for English education reform. The conclusions suggest that cultivating students' autonomous learning abilities not only enhances English learning outcomes but also promotes their lifelong learning capabilities, better equipping them to meet the demands of future society.
