摘  要:在全球化背景下,英语教育的重要性日益凸显,教师角色的转变与专业发展成为推动教育质量提升的关键因素。本研究旨在探讨当前英语教育中教师角色的变化趋势及其对教师专业发展的深远影响,通过问卷调查、深度访谈和案例分析相结合的方法,收集并分析了来自不同地区和教学层次的120名英语教师的数据。研究发现,随着信息技术的广泛应用和学生自主学习能力的增强,传统以知识传授为核心的教师角色正逐渐向学习引导者、资源开发者和文化传递者的多元角色转变。此外,教师在这一过程中面临诸多挑战,如技术应用能力不足、教学理念更新滞后以及职业倦怠等问题。针对上述问题,本研究提出构建以终身学习为导向的专业发展模式,强调教师在教学实践中持续反思与创新的能力培养。研究的创新点在于将教师角色转变与专业发展置于动态互动的框架下进行考察,并提出了具体可行的发展路径。本研究为英语教育领域的教师培训和政策制定提供了理论依据和实践参考,有助于促进教师队伍的整体素质提升和教育公平性的实现。

Abstract:In the context of globalization, the importance of English education has become increasingly prominent, and the transformation of teachers' roles along with their professional development have emerged as critical factors in enhancing educational quality. This study aims to explore the evolving trends in teachers' roles within current English education and their profound implications for professional development. By employing a mixed-methods approach that combines questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and case analysis, data were collected and analyzed from 120 English teachers across different regions and teaching levels. The findings reveal that, with the widespread application of information technology and the enhancement of students' autonomous learning abilities, the traditional teacher role centered on knowledge transmission is gradually shifting toward more diversified roles, including learning facilitator, resource developer, and cultural communicator. Moreover, teachers encounter various challenges during this transition, such as insufficient technological proficiency, outdated pedagogical concepts, and professional burnout. In response to these issues, this study proposes the establishment of a professional development model oriented toward lifelong learning, emphasizing the cultivation of teachers' capacities for continuous reflection and innovation in their teaching practices. A key innovation of this research lies in examining the interplay between teachers' role transformation and professional development within a dynamic fr amework, while also proposing concrete and feasible developmental pathways. This study provides theoretical foundations and practical references for teacher training programs and policy formulation in the field of English education, contributing to the overall improvement of teacher competence and the realization of educational equity.
