摘 要：随着全球化进程的加速，英语电影字幕翻译在跨文化传播中扮演着日益重要的角色，其文化适应性与翻译策略成为学术研究的热点问题。本研究旨在探讨英语电影字幕翻译中的文化适应性及其具体实现策略，以促进观众对异域文化的理解与认同。研究采用定性分析与案例研究相结合的方法，选取多部具有代表性的英语电影字幕翻译文本为研究对象，从语言、文化和社会三个维度进行深入剖析。结果表明，字幕翻译过程中需兼顾源语的文化内涵与目标语观众的认知习惯，在有限的时间和空间内实现信息的有效传递。本研究提出“文化补偿”与“文化重构”两种创新性翻译策略，分别用于处理文化缺失与文化冲突问题，从而提升翻译的文化适应性。研究结论强调，字幕翻译不仅是语言转换的过程，更是文化对话的桥梁，译者应具备跨文化意识与灵活的翻译技巧，以实现文化交流的最大化效果。本研究的主要贡献在于系统性地阐释了文化适应性在字幕翻译中的重要性，并为实践提供了理论指导与操作框架，对推动跨文化传播研究具有重要意义。

Abstract：As the process of globalization accelerates, English film subtitle translation has played an increasingly significant role in cross-cultural communication, with its cultural adaptability and translation strategies becoming focal points in academic research. This study aims to explore the cultural adaptability in English film subtitle translation and its specific implementation strategies to enhance the audience's understanding and recognition of foreign cultures. By employing a combination of qualitative analysis and case study methodology, this research examines multiple representative English film subtitle translations from linguistic, cultural, and social dimensions. The findings indicate that during the subtitle translation process, it is essential to balance the cultural connotations of the source language with the cognitive habits of the target language audience, ensuring effective information transmission within limited time and space constraints. This study proposes two innovative translation strategies: "cultural compensation" for addressing cultural gaps and "cultural reconstruction" for resolving cultural conflicts, thereby enhancing the cultural adaptability of translations. The conclusion emphasizes that subtitle translation is not merely a process of linguistic conversion but also a bridge for cultural dialogue, requiring translators to possess intercultural awareness and flexible translation skills to maximize cultural exchange. The primary contribution of this study lies in systematically elucidating the significance of cultural adaptability in subtitle translation and providing theoretical guidance and operational fr ameworks for practical applications, which holds important implications for advancing cross-cultural communication research.
