Abstract

The development of reading and writing skills among visually impaired students is a critical issue in the field of special education. This study investigates targeted teaching strategies based on the practical challenges faced by visually impaired students during their learning processes, aiming to enhance their reading comprehension and writing ex pression through systematic instructional methods. By employing a combination of questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and case analyses, this research conducts a comprehensive investigation into visually impaired students and their teachers across different age groups. The findings indicate that integrating tactile perception training with multisensory collaborative teaching can significantly improve students' reading efficiency and writing quality. Additionally, the development of adaptive technological tools plays a crucial role in optimizing the learning experience. A key innovation of this study is the proposal of a "hierarchical progressive" teaching model, which incorporates artificial intelligence-assisted technology into daily educational practices, offering new approaches for personalized learning among visually impaired students. The conclusions not only enrich the theoretical fr amework of special education but also provide empirical evidence for the formulation and refinement of relevant educational policies, thereby contributing significantly to the promotion of educational equity.
