Abstract

The intervention and support for children with autism is a critical issue in the field of special education, where family-based intervention and home-school collaboration play a profound role in child development. This study explores family-centered intervention strategies and effective pathways for home-school cooperation based on relevant theories and practices both domestically and internationally. A mixed-methods design was employed, combining questionnaire surveys, in-depth interviews, and case analyses to collect multidimensional data from 120 families of children with autism and their respective schools. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of family intervention significantly depends on parents' professional guidance capabilities and psychological support networks, while the quality of home-school collaboration directly influences children's social adaptability and academic performance. This study innovatively proposes a "dual-track synergy" model, which enhances parental intervention skills through systematic training and optimizes home-school communication mechanisms via digital platforms, thereby achieving efficient resource integration and personalized support. This model provides new insights into the support system for children with autism and offers empirical evidence for policy formulation and practical improvements. The research demonstrates that strengthening the cooperative relationship between families and schools can effectively promote the comprehensive development of children with autism, alleviate family burdens, and enhance the efficacy of social support.
