Abstract

Students with multiple disabilities pose significant challenges to education and rehabilitation due to their complex special needs. This study aims to construct a scientific and systematic comprehensive rehabilitation system to enhance the functional levels and social adaptability of students with multiple disabilities. Grounded in ecological theory and multiple intelligences theory, and informed by domestic and international practical experiences, this research employs methods such as literature analysis, questionnaire surveys, expert interviews, and case studies to design a rehabilitation fr amework encompassing five major domains: cognition, language, motor skills, social interaction, and daily living skills. A stratified intervention strategy is also proposed. The findings indicate that this system can substantially improve the overall abilities of students with multiple disabilities, with particularly noticeable effects in language ex pression, social interaction, and self-management. Additionally, the study innovatively incorporates an interdisciplinary collaboration mechanism and technical support system, ensuring the personalized implementation of rehabilitation efforts. Overall, this research not only fills the theoretical gap in the field of comprehensive rehabilitation for students with multiple disabilities in China but also provides actionable practice guidelines for special education institutions and families, demonstrating significant application value and potential for promotion.
