摘 要:英语儿童文学作为跨文化交流的重要媒介,承载着丰富的道德教育元素,对塑造儿童价值观具有深远影响。本研究以英语儿童文学中的道德教育元素为切入点,在梳理相关理论背景的基础上,旨在探讨这些作品如何通过叙事策略传递道德观念,并分析其在当代教育语境中的应用价值。研究采用文本分析法与比较研究法相结合的方式,选取了多部经典英语儿童文学作品作为研究对象,深入剖析其中的道德主题、人物形象及情节设计。研究发现,英语儿童文学中的道德教育元素主要体现在责任担当、诚实守信、善良友爱等核心价值的传递上,同时通过隐喻、象征等艺术手法增强了道德教育的感染力和说服力。此外,这些作品普遍注重情境化和互动性,能够有效激发儿童的共情能力和批判性思维。本研究的创新点在于将道德教育与文学审美相结合,提出了“情境式道德引导”的新视角,为英语儿童文学的教学实践提供了理论支持。研究结果表明,英语儿童文学不仅是语言学习的资源,更是开展道德教育的有效载体,其跨文化价值值得进一步挖掘与推广。

An Analysis of Moral Education Elements in English Children's Literature

Abstract:English children's literature, as an important medium for cross-cultural exchange, carries rich elements of moral education and has a profound impact on shaping children's values. This study focuses on the moral education elements in English children's literature, aiming to explore how these works convey moral concepts through narrative strategies and analyze their application value in contemporary educational contexts. By combining textual analysis with comparative research methods, the study selects multiple classic works of English children's literature as research ob jects, conducting an in-depth examination of their moral themes, character portrayals, and plot designs. The findings indicate that the moral education elements in English children's literature primarily manifest in the transmission of core values such as responsibility, honesty, and kindness, while artistic techniques like me taphor and symbolism enhance the感染力 and persuasiveness of moral education. Additionally, these works generally emphasize contextualization and interactivity, effectively stimulating children's empathy and critical thinking. The innovation of this study lies in integrating moral education with literary aesthetics, proposing a new perspective of "contextualized moral guidance" that provides theoretical support for the teaching practice of English children's literature. The results demonstrate that English children's literature is not only a resource for language learning but also an effective vehicle for moral education, with its cross-cultural value warranting further exploration and promotion.
