Abstract:The transition from kindergarten to primary school is a critical phase for children to achieve a smooth educational progression, and its quality directly impacts their lifelong development. This study investigates scientific and effective strategies for facilitating this transition based on the current challenges faced in China’s early childhood education. By employing methods such as questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and case analyses, the study systematically examines the current practices of kindergarten and primary school teachers, parents, and students, revealing issues such as goals, insufficient cooperation mechanisms, and an incomplete evaluation system in the transition process. In response, the study proposes a child-centered comprehensive transition model that emphasizes balanced emotional, cognitive, and social development while establishing a collaborative fr amework for family-school co-education. The findings indicate that this model significantly enhances children's adaptability, alleviates school-entry anxiety, and promotes holistic development. A key innovation of this research lies in integrating emotional support with cognitive preparation, alongside proposing practical and actionable improvement measures. These contributions provide both theoretical foundations and practical guidance for educational practice, demonstrating significant practical implications and potential for widespread application.
