Abstract
The study on the role of social work in the prevention and intervention of campus bullying aims to explore the roles and responsibilities of social workers in the issue of campus bullying, as well as the prevention and intervention strategies they can adopt. The background section introduces the definition and forms of campus bullying, as well as its negative impact on victims and communities. The role and responsibility of social work in the issue of campus bullying emphasizes the responsibility of social workers in protecting victims, supporting victims, and educating bullies. The prevention strategy section discusses the importance of social workers providing education and awareness raising activities, developing anti bullying policies and procedures, and providing psychological support and counseling services. The intervention strategy section introduces strategies for case intervention and counseling, organizing support groups and promoting peer support, as well as establishing campus cooperation networks and resource sharing mechanisms. The challenges and suggestions section discusses the difficulties and suggestions faced by social workers, including the lack of a unified definition and standard of campus bullying, insufficient support from schools and communities, and the effectiveness and sustainability of prevention and intervention strategies. Enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of social workers, strengthening cooperation and collaboration within and outside the campus, establishing effective monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and promoting the cultural construction of full participation and shared responsibility are key recommendations and measures for improving campus bullying prevention and intervention.
