Abstract

With the acceleration of the global industrialization process, the discharge of wastewater is increasing, leading to the increasingly serious problem of environmental pollution. Traditional wastewater treatment methods are often accompanied by high energy consumption, high pollution and other problems, posing a serious threat to the ecological environment and human health. Therefore, the development of green, highly efficient and low-consumption wastewater treatment technology has become an urgent demand in today's society. This paper aims to explore the application of green chemical engineering in wastewater treatment and analyze its important role in solving environmental pollution problems. By explaining the theoretical basis, application principle and core concept of green chemical engineering, and combining with the research status at home and abroad, this paper proposes the practical application strategy of green chemical engineering in wastewater treatment. At the same time, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in the implementation of technology difficulties and limitations, the complexity of wastewater components and the balance between economic cost and benefit. This study is of great significance for promoting the application and development of green chemical engineering in the field of wastewater treatment and realizing the sustainable development.
