摘 要
明清小说作为中国文学史上的重要组成部分，其对市民生活的描写反映了当时社会的多方面特征。本研究旨在探讨明清小说中市民生活描写的内涵、表现形式及其文化意义，以期揭示这一时期市民阶层的生活状态与精神风貌。通过对《金瓶梅》《醒世恒言》等代表性作品进行文本细读，并结合历史文献资料，运用文学社会学的研究方法，分析小说中关于市民衣食住行、社交娱乐、商业活动等方面的描写。研究发现，明清小说中的市民生活描写不仅展现了丰富的物质文化，更体现了市民阶层的价值观念和生活方式的转变。这些描写突破了传统文学以士大夫为主角的局限，将目光投向普通民众，为后世提供了珍贵的社会史料。同时，小说中还蕴含着作者对市民生活的态度，既有批判也有同情，反映出复杂的社会思潮。本研究创新性地从市民生活视角切入，深入挖掘明清小说的社会价值，弥补了以往研究侧重于文学艺术性的不足，为理解明清社会结构变迁提供了新的思路。

Abstract
Ming and Qing novels, as an integral part of Chinese literary history, reflect various characteristics of society through their depictions of urban commoners' lives. This study aims to explore the connotations, forms of ex pression, and cultural significance of such depictions in Ming and Qing novels, revealing the living conditions and mental outlook of the urban class during this period. By conducting close readings of representative works such as "Jin Ping Mei" and "Xingshi Hengyan," alongside historical documentary evidence, and employing the research methodology of literary sociology, the study analyzes desc riptions in these novels concerning the clothing, food, housing, transportation, social entertainment, and commercial activities of urban dwellers. The findings indicate that the depictions of urban life in Ming and Qing novels not only showcase a rich material culture but also reflect transformations in the value systems and lifestyles of the urban class. These portrayals transcend the traditional literary focus on scholar-officials, shifting attention to ordinary people and providing valuable social historical records for future generations. Moreover, the novels encapsulate the authors' attitudes toward urban life, which are both critical and empathetic, reflecting complex social ideologies. Innovatively approaching the subject from the perspective of urban life, this study delves into the social value of Ming and Qing novels, addressing the limitations of previous research that predominantly emphasized literary artistry, and offering new insights into understanding the transformation of social structures during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
