Abstract 
As an important law to protect the rights and interests of workers, the Labor Contract Law also plays an important role in protecting the rights and interests of temporary workers. However, there are still many challenges in protecting the rights and interests of temporary workers in practice. This paper deeply discusses the status quo, existing problems and corresponding countermeasures of the protection of temporary workers' rights and interests in the labor contract law. This paper first analyzes the special status of temporary workers in the labor market and the risks they face, including low wages, poor working conditions, lack of social security and so on. Then, the article points out the deficiencies in the protection of the rights and interests of temporary workers in the labor contract law, such as the ambiguity of legal provisions, insufficient enforcement and imperfect supervision mechanism. These deficiencies make it difficult to effectively implement the protection of the rights and interests of temporary workers in practice. In view of these problems, this paper puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions. First of all, we should improve the relevant provisions of the labor contract law, clarify the legal status of temporary workers and the scope of rights and interests protection, and improve the pertinence and operability of legal provisions. Second, strengthen law enforcement and the construction of regulatory mechanisms to ensure the effective implementation of legal provisions and crack down on illegal activities. In addition, the establishment of a social support system to protect the rights and interests of temporary workers should be promoted, including strengthening publicity and education, raising social awareness and providing legal aid. Through the discussion of this paper, we realize the importance and complexity of the protection of the rights and interests of temporary workers in the labor contract law. Only by constantly improving laws and regulations, strengthening law enforcement and supervision mechanism construction, and promoting the establishment of social support system, can we truly protect the legitimate rights and interests of temporary workers and promote the healthy development of the labor market.
