Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, the application of digital technology in the field of environmental design has become increasingly widespread, infusing new vitality into traditional design methods. This study focuses on the utilization and innovation of digital technology in environmental design, exploring its impact on design processes, representation forms, and user experience. By analyzing the characteristics of digital tools and technologies, the study reveals their potential to enhance design efficiency, optimize spatial ex pression, and strengthen interactive experiences. A combination of literature review, case analysis, and empirical research is employed, with an in-depth examination of multiple representative projects across various dimensions, including data modeling, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence-assisted design. The findings indicate that digital technology not only significantly improves the accuracy and flexibility of design work but also aids designers in addressing complex environmental challenges through simulation and prediction functions. Additionally, it is found that digital tools possess unique advantages in promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and user participation. The novelty of this study lies in its systematic integration of various emerging technologies and the proposal of a design fr amework adapted to future trends, providing theoretical support and technical references for the field of environmental design. The research outcomes hold significant implications for advancing industry digital transformation, enhancing design quality, and fulfilling diverse user needs.
