摘 要
随着英语教育低龄化趋势的加剧,如何提升小学生英语学习兴趣成为当前研究的重要议题本研究以故事教学法为切入点,旨在探索其在小学英语课堂中的应用策略及其对学生学习兴趣的影响通过文献分析、课堂观察和问卷调查相结合的研究方法,选取某市三所小学共300名学生作为研究对象,系统考察了故事教学法在激发学习动机、增强课堂参与度和促进语言能力发展方面的实际效果研究发现,将故事教学法融入英语课堂能够显著提高学生的兴趣水平,具体表现在学生对课堂活动的积极参与、语言表达的主动性增强以及学习满意度的提升此外,本研究创新性地提出了基于学生认知特点的故事设计框架,并验证了其在不同年级间的适应性结果表明,该框架有助于教师根据教学目标灵活调整故事内容,从而实现个性化教学最终得出结论:故事教学法不仅是一种有效的教学工具,更能在情感层面与学生建立连接,为小学英语教学提供了一种可行且可持续的发展路径关键词:故事教学法; 小学生英语学习兴趣; 课堂参与度; 语言能力发展; 个性化教学
Abstract
With the increasing trend of younger-age English education, enhancing primary school students' interest in learning English has become an important research topic. This study focuses on story-based teaching as a key approach, aiming to explore its application strategies in primary school English classrooms and its impact on students' learning interest. By employing a combination of literature analysis, classroom observation, and questionnaire surveys, this study selected 300 students from three primary schools in a certain city to systematically examine the practical effects of story-based teaching in stimulating learning motivation, increasing classroom participation, and promoting language development. The findings indicate that integrating story-based teaching into English classrooms significantly enhances students' interest levels, as evidenced by their active engagement in classroom activities, increased initiative in language ex pression, and higher satisfaction with learning experiences. Furthermore, this study innovatively proposes a story design fr amework based on students' cognitive characteristics and verifies its adaptability across different grade levels. The results show that this fr amework enables teachers to flexibly adjust story content according to teaching ob jectives, thereby facilitating personalized instruction. In conclusion, story-based teaching not only serves as an effective pedagogical tool but also establishes an emotional connection with students, providing a feasible and sustainable developmental path for primary school English education.Key words:Story-based Teaching Method; Elementary School Students' English Learning Interest; Classroom Participation; Language Ability Development; Personalized Instruction
