摘要
英语语法的演变是语言学研究中的重要课题，其历史进程深受社会变迁、文化交流和技术进步的影响。本研究旨在探讨英语语法从古英语到现代英语的演变规律及其背后的社会动因，通过系统梳理历史文献与语料库数据，结合社会语言学理论，分析关键历史阶段中语法结构变化的驱动因素。研究采用定量与定性相结合的方法，以大型历史语料库为依托，运用统计分析和对比研究手段，揭示了社会阶层、地域差异、技术革新等因素对语法演变的具体作用机制。结果表明，英语语法的简化趋势与社会互动频率的增加密切相关，而外来文化影响则显著促进了语法结构的多样化。此外，本研究首次将技术发展纳入语法演变分析框架，发现印刷术和数字媒体等技术变革对标准化和创新语法形式起到了双重推动作用。研究结论不仅深化了对英语语法演变规律的理解，还为语言政策制定和社会语言规划提供了理论支持，其创新点在于构建了一个多维度的社会-语言交互模型，为相关领域的进一步研究奠定了基础。

Abstract
The evolution of English grammar is a significant topic in linguistic research, with its historical development profoundly influenced by social changes, cultural exchanges, and technological advancements. This study investigates the patterns of English grammatical evolution from Old English to Modern English and the underlying social motivations, systematically reviewing historical literature and corpus data while integrating sociolinguistic theories to analyze the driving forces behind grammatical structural changes during key historical phases. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was employed, relying on large-scale historical corpora and utilizing statistical analysis and comparative research techniques to reveal the specific mechanisms by which factors such as social class, regional differences, and technological innovations have impacted grammatical evolution. The findings indicate that the simplification trend in English grammar is closely associated with increased social interaction frequency, while external cultural influences have significantly promoted grammatical diversification. Additionally, this study innovatively incorporates technological development into the analytical fr amework of grammatical evolution, revealing that technological revolutions such as printing and digital media have played dual roles in promoting both the standardization and innovation of grammatical forms. The conclusions not only enhance the understanding of the patterns of English grammatical evolution but also provide theoretical support for language policy formulation and sociolinguistic planning. The novelty of this research lies in the construction of a multi-dimensional socio-linguistic interaction model, laying a foundation for further studies in related fields.
