Abstract

With the rapid development of the automotive industry, automatic transmissions, as one of the core components of modern vehicles, directly influence driving experience and traffic safety. However, frequent failures and complex diagnostics in automatic transmissions have become a technical challenge in the maintenance field. This study focuses on typical failures of automatic transmissions, exploring technical methods for fault detection and repair through the analysis of real-world maintenance cases. By integrating theoretical analysis with empirical research, and employing fault tree analysis and data-driven diagnostic models, multiple practical cases are thoroughly examined. The results indicate that constructing a systematic fault diagnosis procedure can significantly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fault localization. Furthermore, this study innovatively introduces a predictive maintenance strategy based on machine learning, offering new insights into early failure warning. Not only does this research provide practical reference solutions for maintenance technicians, but it also lays a foundation for the development of automatic transmission fault diagnosis technology, demonstrating significant theoretical value and practical implications.
