Abstract

With the rapid development of the automotive industry and continuous advancements in intelligent technologies, traditional vehicle fault detection equipment is increasingly unable to meet the demands of modern vehicles' complex systems. This study investigates the intelligent development trends of automotive fault detection equipment by analyzing current technological bottlenecks and market requirements, proposing a novel detection approach based on artificial intelligence algorithms and big data analytics. A combination of literature review and empirical analysis was employed to systematically evaluate the functional characteristics, technical architecture, and application effectiveness of existing intelligent detection devices, while in-depth analyses of industry cases further elucidated their advantages and limitations. The findings indicate that intelligent detection equipment integrating cutting-edge technologies such as deep learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), and edge computing can significantly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fault diagnosis, providing technical support for remote monitoring and predictive maintenance. The innovation of this research lies in the first-time construction of a comprehensive evaluation system for intelligent detection equipment and the proposal of optimized technical pathways adaptable to future developments, offering theoretical foundations and practical guidance for industry-wide technological upgrades. The research outcomes hold significant implications for advancing the digital transformation of the automotive repair industry.
