EVALUATION OF THE IMMUNIZATION EFFECT OF CLASSICAL SWINE FEVER VACCINE AND OPTIMIZATION OF IMMUNIZATION PROTOCOLS

ABSTRACT

Classical swine fever (CSF) is a contagious disease that poses a significant threat to the swine industry, and its prevention and control rely heavily on the immunization with efficient vaccines. To evaluate the efficacy of current CSF vaccines and optimize immunization protocols, this study investigated a large-scale swine farm using the ELISA method to detect antibody levels, combined with epidemiological surveys and statistical analyses, to systematically assess the effects of different immunization strategies. The findings revealed that traditional immunization protocols exhibited substantial fluctuations in antibody levels and insufficient protective efficacy. However, by adjusting the vaccine dosage and interval between administrations, the overall herd immunity qualification rate could be significantly improved. An innovative personalized immunization scheme based on dynamic antibody monitoring was proposed, which effectively reduced the risk of immunization failure and enhanced the overall health status of the swine population. Additionally, the study elucidated the mechanism by which maternal antibodies influence the immunization outcomes in piglets, providing a theoretical basis for developing scientifically sound immunization plans. The primary contribution of this research lies in identifying the critical parameters for optimizing immunization protocols, offering practical technical support for CSF prevention and control practices.
