明清地方志中的“风俗”书写与社会控制 -历史学专业

摘要

明清时期的地方志作为重要的历史文献，不仅记录了地方的地理、经济与政治状况，还详细描绘了各地的风俗习惯。本研究以明清地方志中的“风俗”书写为切入点，探讨其在社会控制中的功能与作用。通过分析大量明清时期的方志文本，结合社会文化史与权力理论，本文揭示了“风俗”书写如何被用作一种意识形态工具，服务于国家治理和社会秩序的维护。“风俗”书写不仅是对地方文化的记录，更是权力运作的具体体现，它通过构建理想化的社会图景参与了社会控制的过程。本研究的创新点在于首次系统梳理了明清地方志中“风俗”书写的内在逻辑，并将其置于国家与地方互动的框架下进行解读，从而深化了对传统社会文化治理机制的理解。这一成果为重新认识明清时期的社会控制方式及其文化基础提供了新的视角。

Writings on "Customs" in Ming-Qing Local Gazetteers and Social Control

Abstract

As an important historical document, the local Chronicles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties not only recorded the geographical, economic and political conditions of the place, but also described the customs and habits of different places in detail. This study takes the writing of "custom" in local Chronicles of Ming and Qing dynasties as the starting point to explore its function and effect in social control. By analyzing a large number of local Chronicles texts of the Ming and Qing dynasties, combined with social and cultural history and power theory, this paper reveals how the writing of "custom" was used as an ideological tool to serve national governance and the maintenance of social order. "Custom" writing is not only a record of local culture, but also a concrete embodiment of power operation. It participates in the process of social control by constructing an idealized social picture. The innovation of this study is that it systematically combs the internal logic of "custom" writing in local Chronicles of the Ming and Qing dynasties for the first time, and interprets it under the fr amework of state-local interaction, thus deepening the understanding of the traditional social and cultural governance mechanism. This achievement provides a new perspective for re-understanding the social control mode and its cultural basis in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
