Research on Optimization of Quality Management System in Construction Phase

Abstract: With the rapid development of the construction industry, quality management during the construction phase has become a core component in ensuring project quality and safety. However, traditional quality management systems are plagued by issues such as cumbersome processes, information silos, and delayed responses, which hinder their ability to meet the complex demands of modern engineering projects. This study aims to optimize the quality management system during the construction phase by integrating digital technologies and systematic approaches to enhance both efficiency and accuracy. A literature analysis method was employed to examine the current state and challenges of quality management, complemented by case studies that provided an in-depth analysis of the limitations of existing systems. Based on these findings, an integrated quality management fr amework leveraging BIM (Building Information Modeling) and big data technologies was proposed. This fr amework enables real-time data collection, intelligent analysis, and dynamic feedback of quality-related information. The results indicate that the new system significantly improves the speed of identifying and resolving quality issues while reducing human error rates. Furthermore, pilot applications have demonstrated its comprehensive advantages in cost control and schedule management. The innovation of this research lies in the deep integration of advanced technologies with quality management practices, resulting in a highly adaptable and scalable optimization solution that serves as a practical reference for the industry. The primary contribution of this study is the promotion of a transition from experience-driven to data-driven quality management, providing both theoretical support and technical pathways for enhancing quality management standards in construction projects.
