癫痫是一种常见的神经系统疾病，其治疗药物的选择对患者预后至关重要。本研究旨在探讨丙戊酸钠在癫痫患者中的疗效及副作用特征，为临床用药提供参考依据。研究选取2018年至2022年间某三甲医院收治的300例癫痫患者作为研究对象，采用随机对照试验设计，将患者分为丙戊酸钠治疗组和传统抗癫痫药物对照组。通过为期两年的随访观察，记录患者的发作频率、无发作率以及药物相关副作用的发生情况。结果显示，丙戊酸钠治疗组的无发作率显著高于对照组（P0.05），且对多种类型的癫痫发作均表现出良好的控制效果。然而，丙戊酸钠组中部分患者出现肝功能异常、体重增加等副作用，提示需加强用药期间的监测与管理。本研究创新性地对比了丙戊酸钠与其他抗癫痫药物的综合疗效，并详细分析了其副作用谱，证实丙戊酸钠在癫痫治疗中具有较高的有效性和安全性，但仍需根据患者个体差异进行精准化用药调整。关键词：丙戊酸钠；癫痫治疗；无发作率；副作用特征；精准化用药
Efficacy and Side Effects of Sodium Valproate in Patients with Epilepsy: An Observational Study
Abstract
Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder, and the selection of treatment medications plays a critical role in patient prognosis. This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and side-effect profile of sodium valproate in epilepsy patients, providing reference evidence for clinical medication use. A total of 300 epilepsy patients treated at a tertiary hospital between 2018 and 2022 were selected as research subjects and divided into a sodium valproate treatment group and a traditional anti-epileptic drug control group using a randomized controlled trial design. Over a two-year follow-up period, the frequency of seizures, seizure-free rate, and occurrence of drug-related side effects were recorded. The results demonstrated that the seizure-free rate in the sodium valproate group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P0.05), with effective control observed across various types of epileptic seizures. However, some patients in the sodium valproate group experienced adverse effects such as liver function abnormalities and weight gain, indicating the need for enhanced monitoring and management during treatment. This study innovatively compared the comprehensive efficacy of sodium valproate with other anti-epileptic drugs and conducted a detailed analysis of its side-effect spectrum, confirming that sodium valproate exhibits high effectiveness and safety in epilepsy treatment. Nevertheless, personalized medication adjustments based on individual patient differences remain essential.
