Abstract

This paper deeply discusses the legal issues of property assessment in divorce cases, aiming at clarifying the legal status and role of property assessment in divorce cases, optimizing the legal procedure of property assessment to promote the fairness and rationality of property division. This paper expounds the legal basis of property assessment, including the legal basis, purpose and scope, subject and qualification of property assessment, as well as the practice of property assessment from the international perspective, which lays a foundation for the subsequent analysis. In terms of the procedures and methods of property assessment, the paper analyzes the initiation procedures, methodology, legal effect, supervision and management of property assessment in detail. These contents help to understand the operational mechanism and legal effect of property appraisal within the legal fr amework. This paper further discusses the disputed issues of property appraisal in divorce cases, including accuracy, fairness, timeliness and cost. The existence of these disputes challenges the legal validity and impartiality of property assessment, and also affects the acceptance of property assessment results and the effect of implementation. In response to the above problems, the paper puts forward a series of suggestions, including improving the legal norms of property assessment, enhancing the professionalism and impartiality of property assessment, and optimizing the efficiency and effect of property assessment.
