摘 要：《追风筝的人》作为卡勒德·胡赛尼的代表作，不仅是一部感人至深的文学作品，更是对阿富汗历史、文化及人性深刻反思的杰作。本书通过主人公阿米尔与哈桑之间复杂而纠葛的友情、背叛与救赎，展现了阿富汗社会的变迁与个体命运的沉浮。通过文本细读，本文首先分析了风筝与阿富汗文化的紧密联系，揭示了风筝节的社会文化内涵及风筝竞赛的文化解读。进而，探讨了风筝作为童年自由与梦想的象征，以及其在背叛与救赎主题中的关键作用，展示了风筝如何成为人物命运转折的标志性符号。此外，本文还深入剖析了风筝回归的象征意义，指出其不仅是物理上的回归，更是主角内心自我和解与成长的象征。最后，本文总结了风筝意象在推动情节发展、增强情感表达、深化主题意义及构建多维叙事空间等方面的叙事功能，强调了风筝意象对于小说整体艺术效果的重要贡献。

The symbolic significance of the kite image in The Kite Runner
Abstract：As the representative work of Caleed Husseni, "The Kite Runner" is not only a touching literary work, but also a masterpiece of profound reflection on Afghan history, culture and human nature. Through the complex and tangled friendship, betrayal and redemption between the hero Amir and Hassan, this book shows the changes of Afghan society and the ups and downs of individual destiny. Through the close reading of the text, this paper first analyzes the close connection between the kite and the Afghan culture, and reveals the social and cultural connotation of the kite festival and the cultural interpretation of the kite competition. Furthermore, it discusses the kite as the symbol of childhood freedom and dream, and its key role in the theme of betrayal and redemption, and shows how the kite becomes the symbolic symbol of the fate turning point of the characters. In addition, this paper also deeply analyzes the symbolic significance of kite return, pointing out that it is not only a physical return, but also a symbol of the protagonist's inner self-reconciliation and growth. Finally, this paper summarizes the narrative function of kite image in promoting plot development, enhancing emotional ex pression, deepening thematic meaning and constructing multi-dimensional narrative space, and emphasizes the important contribution of kite image to the overall artistic effect of the novel.
