Abstract:This paper discusses the importance, present situation, problems and countermeasures of classroom discipline management in primary school. First, the article defines classroom discipline, and analyzes the application of management theory and the relationship between teacher authority and discipline. Then, the article reveals the problems existing in the classroom discipline management of primary school, such as students' distraction, behavior problems, teacher authority challenge and inconsistent discipline implementation. The article also discusses the factors that influence discipline management, including the teaching methods of teachers, individual differences of students and classroom environment. To solve these problems, the paper proposes a series of strategies, including establishing clear classroom rules, adopting reward mechanism, applying effective classroom management skills and emphasizing home-school cooperation. These strategies are designed to help educators better understand and respond to classroom discipline problems, improve teaching quality, and promote the overall development of students.
