Abstract
"Yearning for the Gentleman's Seal" is a representative work of Wang Anshi, which contains his rich literary ideas. This paper explores Wang Anshi's literary ideas from "Yearning for the Gentleman's Seal", and explores his position and contribution in the literary world.
Firstly, Wang Anshi's life and works are introduced, emphasizing the importance of his literary ideas. Secondly, the paper summarizes the era of thought and cultural background in which Wang Anshi lived and the influences he received. In the third part, the paper analyzes Wang Anshi's literary ideas in "Yearning for the Gentleman's Seal" in detail, including aesthetic concepts, literary creation methods, literary values, etc., highlighting his deep understanding of literature. Finally, the paper analyzes Wang Anshi's influence on the development of literature at that time from the aspects of creation effects and inspiration for future generations, and explores his position and role in ancient Chinese literary history.
