Observation of the Efficacy of tDCS-Assisted Language Training in Improving Aphasia 

Abstract
Aphasia, as a common language disorder following brain injury, significantly impairs patients' quality of life. While traditional language training has some therapeutic effects, its outcomes are limited. This study aimed to investigate the improvement effects of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) combined with language training on patients with aphasia. A total of 40 aphasic patients were recruited and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received tDCS in conjunction with language training, whereas the control group underwent language training alone. The intervention lasted for four weeks. Changes in naming, repetition, and auditory comprehension were assessed using standardized language evaluation scales. The results indicated that the experimental group showed significantly greater improvements in naming accuracy and auditory comprehension compared to the control group (p0.05), with sustained effects post-intervention. This finding suggests that tDCS can enhance cortical excitability and promote neuroplasticity, thereby improving the efficacy of language training. The novelty of this study lies in its systematic validation of the synergistic effect of combining tDCS with language training, providing a new intervention strategy for aphasia rehabilitation with significant clinical application value.
