摘 要:随着全球化进程的加快,小学英语教育的重要性日益凸显。然而传统教学模式难以充分调动学生积极性,本研究旨在探索游戏化学习在小学英语课堂的应用及其效果。通过文献综述与实地调研发现,将游戏元素融入英语教学能有效提升学生的学习兴趣和参与度。本研究选取某市三所小学共450名三年级学生作为研究对象,采用准实验研究法,设置实验组和对照组,运用问卷调查、课堂观察及测试等方法收集数据。结果显示,游戏化学习显著提高了学生的词汇量、口语表达能力和学习动机,尤其在培养学习兴趣方面表现突出。创新之处在于构建了适合小学生认知特点的游戏化学习框架,并开发了配套的教学资源,为小学英语教学改革提供了理论依据和实践参考,证明游戏化学习是提高小学英语教学质量的有效途径。

Abstract:With the acceleration of globalization, the importance of primary school English education has become increasingly prominent. However, traditional teaching models struggle to fully engage students' enthusiasm. This study aims to explore the application and effects of gamified learning in primary school English classrooms. Through a review of literature and field research, it was found that incorporating game elements into English instruction can effectively enhance students' interest and participation. The study selected 450 third-grade students from three primary schools in a city as research subjects, employing a quasi-experimental research method with experimental and control groups. Data were collected using questionnaires, classroom observations, and tests. Results indicate that gamified learning significantly improved students' vocabulary, oral ex pression skills, and learning motivation, particularly in fostering interest in learning. An innovative aspect of this study is the development of a gamified learning fr amework tailored to the cognitive characteristics of primary school students, along with accompanying teaching resources. This provides theoretical support and practical references for reforms in primary school English education, demonstrating that gamified learning is an effective approach to enhancing the quality of English teaching in primary schools.
