Abstract
In the engineering cost management, cost control and benefit evaluation are the core links to ensure the economic feasibility of the project and realize the optimal allocation of resources. this paper discusses the model of cost control and benefit evaluation in engineering cost in depth. analyzes the key elements of cost control, index system of benefit evaluation and their interaction mechanism. aims at providing scientific and systematic decision basis for engineering project management. cost control, as an important part of project cost management, runs through the whole process of the project from investment decision to completion acceptance. Effective cost control can not only reduce the total cost of the project, improve the economic efficiency, can also ensure the project quality, safety and schedule targets. This paper discusses the main methods of cost control, including budget control, schedule control and change control, these methods can realize the comprehensive control of project cost through fine management and dynamic adjustment, . benefit assessment is a comprehensive consideration of the economic, social and environmental benefits of a project. including economic benefit evaluation is constructed in this paper, social benefit assessment and environmental benefits assessment, multidimensional performance evaluation index system, through quantitative analysis of project investment rate of return, payback period, , capital economic indicators, such as internal rate of return of employment, , and project environmental protection, contribution of social harmony, comprehensive evaluate comprehensive benefits of the project. cost control and benefit evaluation model combine the two closely, forms a closed-loop management system.
