Abstract

This paper focuses on the cost control strategy of small residential renovation projects, in-depth analysis of the cost challenges faced by the renovation projects, such as space limitation, complex construction conditions, material cost fluctuations, and , and put forward a series of targeted control strategies accordingly. In the small residential renovation project, first of all, we should pay attention to the cost control in the preliminary planning and design stage. Through accurate measurement and assessment of existing housing conditions, reasonably determine the scope and standards of reconstruction, avoid unnecessary demolition and waste. At the same time, introduce a competitive bidding mechanism, select cost-effective, experienced construction team, to ensure the construction quality and cost efficiency. In the construction process, the implementation of strict cost control and dynamic management is very important. Establish sound material purchasing and management system, ensure material quality and cost meet expectations. Strengthen site construction management, optimize construction organization design, reduce idle work and rework phenomenon, improve construction efficiency.
