Abstract
With the rapid development of the Internet and digital technology, online education as a new type of education has attracted more and more attention. This study aims to explore the impact of online education on the learning outcomes of primary and secondary school students and evaluate its effectiveness. By randomly grouping classes, the experimental group conducted online learning, while the control group used traditional classroom teaching methods. Mathematics and English were used as experimental subjects, and mid-term and final exam scores were used to evaluate the learning outcomes of the two groups of students. The results showed that the experimental group students' scores in mathematics and English were significantly higher than those of the control group, indicating that online education can help improve the learning outcomes of primary and secondary school students. At the same time, during the online education teaching process, students have more autonomous learning ability and stronger learning motivation, which can increase learning interest and efficiency. In summary, this study proves that online education has a positive impact on the learning outcomes of primary and secondary school students, but further research is needed to explore the implementation mode of online education and its long-term impact on students.
