Abstract
This paper deeply discusses the application points of water-saving irrigation technology in farmland water conservancy projects. With the increasing shortage of global water resources, agriculture, as a large water user, the promotion and application of water-saving irrigation technology is particularly important. This paper first summarizes the importance of water-saving irrigation technology and its current application in different agricultural environments, emphasizing its positive role in water resources protection, improvement of agricultural production efficiency and sustainable environmental development. Then, the paper analyzes in detail the key technologies of water-saving irrigation technology, including drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, micro-irrigation and other irrigation methods, and discusses the specific effects of these technologies in improving the efficiency of water resources utilization and reducing the waste of water resources. Further, the paper discusses the problems existing in the practical application of water-saving irrigation technology, and the paper puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies, such as improving irrigation facilities, promoting intelligent control system, strengthening irrigation management training, etc., in order to promote the wide application of water-saving irrigation technology in irrigation and water conservancy projects. In addition, the paper also discusses the role of policy support and economic incentive in the promotion of water-saving irrigation technology, and believes that the government should increase investment and provide necessary economic and technical support to stimulate the enthusiasm of farmers to adopt water-saving irrigation technology.
