Abstract

This paper discusses the application effect and management strategy of rotation system in fruit and vegetable planting. Firstly, the theoretical basis of rotation system was summarized, including its origin, development, scientific principle and importance in fruit and vegetable cultivation. Then, the effects of rotation on improving soil fertility and ecological balance, preventing the continuous accumulation of pests and diseases, increasing fruit and vegetable yield and quality, and promoting agricultural biodiversity were analyzed. In terms of management strategy, the key measures such as selection and optimization of crop rotation mode, nutrient management during crop rotation, pest control and biodiversity protection were put forward. Specifically, crop rotation models should be selected and optimized in combination with soil type and crop demand, and reasonable short-term and long-term crop rotation plans should be designed, and ecological relationships between crops should be used to promote each other. In terms of nutrient management, it is necessary to assess the nutrient requirements of crops, plant green fertilizers and cover crops to supplement nutrients, and rationally apply organic fertilizers and fertilizers. Pest control should focus on crop rotation and biological control, use natural enemies and biological agents for control, and establish an early warning system. In addition, this paper also analyzes the economic benefits of rotation system, including reducing production cost, increasing product market value and increasing farmers' income channels. Finally, this paper summarized the important role of rotation system in fruit and vegetable planting, and put forward corresponding suggestions, which provided useful reference for the sustainable development of fruit and vegetable planting.
