Abstract
This paper deeply analyzes the impact of cross-border e-commerce on China's small and medium-sized export manufacturing enterprises. First, it Outlines the rise and development of cross-border e-commerce, including the global e-commerce market trend, the introduction of major cross-border e-commerce platforms, and the role of technological progress in promoting cross-border e-commerce. Then, the positive impact of cross-border e-commerce on small and medium-sized export manufacturing enterprises is discussed in detail, such as market expansion and opportunities, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, brand building and promotion. At the same time, it also points out the challenges brought by cross-border e-commerce to these enterprises, including market competition pressure, regulatory differences and compliance problems, logistics and after-sales service complexity, and data security and privacy issues. In response to these challenges, this paper puts forward a series of strategic suggestions to help small and medium-sized export manufacturing enterprises better cope with cross-border e-commerce. First, enterprises should establish a global vision and strengthen market research to more accurately grasp market trends and consumer demand. Second, strengthen compliance management and seek legal advice to ensure that the business activities of enterprises in different countries and regions comply with local regulations.
