摘 要
晚清时期是中国社会从传统向现代转型的关键阶段，报刊作为新兴传播媒介在这一时期迅速兴起，其文体语言特征成为反映社会变迁的重要窗口本研究以晚清报刊文体为切入点，在梳理相关文献的基础上，结合历史语境与语言学理论，系统分析了晚清报刊文体的语言特征及其对社会的深远影响研究采用文本分析与历史比较相结合的方法，选取具有代表性的晚清报刊文本进行定量与定性分析结果表明，晚清报刊文体呈现出通俗化、口语化和多元化的特点，这些特点不仅适应了当时读者群体的文化水平，还推动了白话文运动的发展此外，报刊文体通过引入新词汇和表达方式，促进了近代汉语的规范化和现代化研究进一步揭示，晚清报刊文体的社会功能超越了信息传播的范畴，它在思想启蒙、文化传播和社会动员等方面发挥了重要作用本研究的创新点在于首次将晚清报刊文体的语言特征与其社会功能相联系，构建了“语言—媒介—社会”三位一体的研究框架，为理解近代中国社会文化转型提供了新的视角主要贡献是丰富了晚清语言史和媒介史的研究内容，并为当代媒体语言的发展提供了历史借鉴

A Study on the Linguistic Characteristics of Late Qing Newspaper Prose and Its Social Impact

Abstract
The late Qing period was a critical stage in the transformation of Chinese society from tradition to modernity, during which newspapers and periodicals, as emerging media, rapidly developed. The linguistic characteristics of their writing styles became an important window reflecting social changes. This study takes the writing style of late Qing newspapers and periodicals as its entry point. Based on a review of relevant literature, it combines historical context with linguistic theory to systematically analyze the language features of these publications and their profound impact on society. Employing a methodology that integrates textual analysis with historical comparison, this research conducts both quantitative and qualitative analyses of representative late Qing newspaper texts. The results indicate that the writing style of late Qing newspapers exhibited features of popularization, oralization, and diversification. These features not only accommodated the cultural level of the contemporary readership but also promoted the development of the vernacular language movement. Furthermore, the introduction of new vocabulary and ex pressions through newspaper writing contributed to the standardization and modernization of Modern Standard Chinese. The study further reveals that the social functions of late Qing newspaper writing extended beyond the scope of information dissemination, playing a significant role in intellectual enlightenment, cultural transmission, and social mobilization. An innovation of this research lies in its first-time linkage between the linguistic features of late Qing newspaper writing and its social functions, establishing a tripartite research fr amework of "language-media-society." This fr amework provides a new perspective for understanding the socio-cultural transformation of modern China. The primary contribution of this study is enriching the research content of late Qing linguistic history and media history while offering historical insights into the development of contemporary media language.
