Abstract

 With the rapid development of the digital economy, financial risk management is encountering increasingly complex challenges, and traditional methods are gradually revealing limitations in terms of data transparency, information sharing efficiency, and security. In this context, blockchain technology, with its characteristics of decentralization, immutability, and smart contracts, offers innovative solutions for financial risk management. This study aims to explore the application potential of blockchain technology in financial risk management by combining literature analysis with case studies to systematically evaluate its role in risk identification, monitoring, assessment, and response. The research first reviews the core mechanisms of blockchain technology and its existing applications in the financial sector, followed by an in-depth analysis of multiple representative corporate cases to reveal how blockchain technology optimizes financial data management processes, enhances auditing efficiency, and strengthens risk early-warning capabilities. The results indicate that blockchain technology can significantly improve the transparency and reliability of financial information, reduce operational risks, and achieve automated risk control through smart contracts. Additionally, the study finds that the construction of cross-institutional collaboration platforms is crucial for unlocking the potential of blockchain technology. The innovation of this research lies in its first-ever multidimensional quantitative analysis of the impact of blockchain technology on financial risk management and the proposal of an implementation fr amework applicable to various industry scenarios. The main contributions include expanding the theoretical foundation of blockchain technology in financial management for academia and providing specific guidance for business practice, thereby promoting the widespread application of blockchain technology in financial risk management.
