Abstract

The association between food nutrition and human health is a critical issue in modern public health research, and with the rising incidence of chronic diseases globally, investigating the long-term impact of dietary structure on health has become particularly urgent. This study aims to systematically analyze the mechanisms by which the intake of different nutritional components affects human health and to evaluate their potential value in disease prevention. A combination of cross-sectional surveys and longitudinal cohort analysis was employed, selecting 12,000 volunteers with an even age distribution as the sample population. Comprehensive data collection methods, including questionnaires, blood tests, and statistical analyses, were utilized to gather information on dietary habits, nutrient intake levels, and health status. The results indicate that a high-fiber diet is significantly associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases, whereas excessive consumption of saturated fats and refined sugars may increase the likelihood of me tabolic syndrome. Additionally, this study introduces the concept of the "Nutrient Density Index," a quantifiable metric designed to assess the overall health benefits of dietary patterns, providing a scientific basis for personalized nutritional interventions. The primary contribution of this research lies in elucidating the causal relationships between specific nutrients and health outcomes, thereby establishing a theoretical foundation for the development of precision dietary guidelines.
