摘 要
中性进化理论自提出以来,为理解分子水平上的遗传变异提供了重要框架。本研究旨在探讨该理论在分子进化的适用性及其潜在局限性,通过整合多组学数据和计算模拟方法,系统分析了基因序列、蛋白质结构及功能保守性之间的关系。在大多数情况下,中性突变确实在分子进化中占据主导地位,但特定功能区域仍受到显著的选择约束。此外,研究发现部分表观遗传修饰可能对中性突变的固定产生调控作用,这一机制尚未被传统理论充分考虑。本研究的创新点在于首次将表观遗传因素纳入中性进化理论的分析框架,并提出了修正模型以更准确地描述分子进化的动力学过程。这些发现不仅深化了对中性进化理论的理解,还为未来研究复杂生物系统的进化规律提供了新的视角和方法论支持。

An Investigation into the Applicability of Neutral Evolution Theory at the Molecular Level

Abstract
Since its inception, neutral evolution theory has provided an important fr amework for understanding genetic variation at the molecular level. The purpose of this study was to explore the applicability and potential limitations of this theory in molecular evolution. By integrating multiple omics data and computational simulation methods, we systematically analyzed the relationship between gene sequence, protein structure and functional conservation. In most cases, neutral mutations do dominate molecular evolution, but specific functional regions are still subject to significant selection constraints. In addition, it has been found that some epigenetic modifications may have a regulatory effect on the fixation of neutral mutations, a mechanism that has not been fully considered by traditional theories. The innovation of this study is that epigenetic factors are included in the analytical fr amework of neutral evolutionary theory for the first time, and a modified model is proposed to more accurately describe the dynamics of molecular evolution. These findings not only deepen the understanding of neutral evolution theory, but also provide a new perspective and methodological support for future research on the evolution of complex biological systems.
