Abstract
With the title of "Cost Control and Optimization of small water supply projects", ‌, ‌ and the challenges of cost control faced by small water supply projects in the process of construction and operation are deeply studied and discussed. ‌ As an important part of urban infrastructure, ‌ plays a vital role in ensuring water consumption for residents and ‌ promoting social and economic development. ‌ However, due to the relatively small scale of ‌ and the limited funds of ‌, ‌ how to effectively control and optimize the project cost on the premise of ensuring the project quality, ‌ has become an urgent problem in the field of small-scale water supply project construction. ‌ First, this paper analyzes the characteristics and difficulties of cost control of small-scale water supply projects. ‌ it is pointed out that such projects are affected by many factors, such as geographical location, ‌ water source condition, ‌ construction environment, etc. ‌ cost is complex and variable. ‌ On this basis, ‌ the article further discusses the importance of cost control, ‌ emphasizes that through scientific and reasonable cost management measures, ‌ can effectively reduce the construction cost and ‌ improve the return on investment on the premise of ensuring the quality and efficiency of the project. ‌ Aiming at the cost control and optimization of small water supply project, ‌ a series of concrete strategies and measures are put forward in this paper. ‌ In the design stage, ‌ emphasizes the optimization of the design scheme, ‌ through the technical and economic comparison, ‌ to choose the cost-effective design scheme; ‌ In the purchasing stage of materials and equipment, ‌ pays attention to market research, ‌ select reliable quality, ‌ reasonable price of materials and equipment; ‌ In the construction phase, ‌ strengthen site management, ‌ strictly control construction changes, ‌ to ensure construction progress and quality; ‌ In the operation and maintenance stage, ‌ to implement water-saving and energy-saving measures, ‌ to reduce operating costs. ‌‌ The importance of the whole process cost management is also emphasized in this paper, ‌, that is, ‌ should be continuously monitored and optimized during the whole life cycle from the planning, ‌ design, ‌ construction to operation and maintenance of small water supply project. ‌ By introducing advanced project management tools and technologies, such as ‌ (‌ building information model) ‌, ‌ improves the informatization level of project management, ‌ realizes real-time sharing and dynamic update of cost information, and ‌ provides more accurate data support for cost control. ‌‌ Based on the in-depth study of cost control and optimization of small-scale water supply projects, ‌ puts forward a series of targeted control measures and optimization strategies, ‌ provides beneficial reference for related construction units. ‌ The research results are of great significance for improving the investment efficiency of small-scale water supply projects and ‌ promoting the efficient utilization and sustainable development of water resources.
