Abstract 
With the continuous progress of science and technology and the improvement of people's living standards, automatic doors as an important part of modern architecture, its intelligence and automation level is increasing. The design and research of automatic door control system based on programmable logic controller (PLC) aims to optimize the control performance of automatic door and improve the user experience through the high reliability, stability and easy maintenance of PLC. This paper deeply discusses the design scheme of automatic door control system based on PLC, from the system composition, working principle, hardware selection to software design and so on. This paper introduces the basic structure of automatic door control system, including PLC controller, induction device, driving device and transmission device. These components work together to realize the intelligent control of the automatic door. The induction device is responsible for detecting the presence of people or ob jects and transmitting the signal to the PLC; According to the preset program logic, PLC controls the drive device and transmission device to realize the opening and closing of the door. This paper analyzes the advantages of PLC application in automatic door control system in detail. PLC has powerful data processing capability and flexible control mode, and can realize complex control logic according to different application scenarios and needs. At the same time, the stability and reliability of PLC is much higher than that of traditional relay control, reducing the failure rate and maintenance costs of the system. In terms of hardware selection, this paper comprehensively considers the PLC model, the sensitivity of the induction device, the driving capacity of the drive device and other factors to ensure the overall performance of the system.
