Abstract
This paper deeply discusses the problems existing in the current mental health education of college students and its solution strategies. Firstly, this paper analyzes the challenges of college students 'mental health education in terms of course content, teachers, students' mental health status and evaluation system. The course content is often outdated, lack of pertinence and practical, unable to meet the diverse psychological needs of college students; weak teachers, lack of professional mental health teachers, affect the teaching quality and effect; students' mental health problems are increasingly serious, such as academic pressure, interpersonal relationship, self-cognition increasingly prominent; the imperfect evaluation system, it is difficult to evaluate the effect of mental health education. For these problems, this paper proposes a series of strategies to solve these problems. First of all, the course content should be updated, introduce more course content in line with the characteristics of college students' psychological development, and pay attention to the combination of theory and practice. Secondly, strengthen the construction of teachers, improve their professional quality and teaching ability, and ensure the professionalism and effectiveness of mental health education. At the same time, strengthen the attention and intervention of students' mental health, establish a sound mental health service system, and provide personalized psychological support and help. Finally, improve the evaluation system, establish scientific and reasonable evaluation standards and methods, to ensure the quality and effect of mental health education work.
