Abstract
Porcine epidemic diarrhea is a common infectious disease in pigs, which has caused serious impact and harm to the pig industry. This article systematically elaborates on the concept, pathogen characteristics, and transmission routes of porcine epidemic diarrhea through the introduction of research background and significance, research purpose and content, and research status at home and abroad. At the same time, the impact and harm of porcine epidemic diarrhea on the pig industry were also analyzed. In terms of immune prevention and control strategies, measures such as vaccine prevention, hygiene management, and improvement of the breeding environment were emphasized. In addition, this article also explores the direction of vaccine research and innovation technology, as well as the importance of sustainable development and environmental protection in the pig industry. Finally, the necessity and impact of social and policy support were emphasized. This study is of great significance for strengthening the prevention and control of porcine epidemic diarrhea and promoting the sustainable development of the pig industry.
