摘 要
林语堂作为中国现代文学史上重要的作家与文化学者，其作品以独特的幽默风格和深刻的文化内涵著称，为跨文化交流提供了丰富的文本资源。本研究旨在探讨林语堂作品中的幽默风格及其背后的文化意蕴，通过分析其语言艺术、思想表达及社会背景，揭示幽默在文化传播中的作用。研究采用文本细读与比较分析相结合的方法，选取《京华烟云》《生活的艺术》等代表性作品为研究对象，从语言形式、叙事策略和社会批判三个维度展开深入剖析。研究发现，林语堂的幽默风格兼具东方智慧与西方幽默理论的特点，既体现了对传统儒家、道家文化的传承，又融入了现代性的思考与表达。这种跨文化的幽默不仅拉近了东西方读者的距离，还有效传递了中国文化的核心价值。本研究的创新点在于将幽默视为一种文化媒介，从传播学视角重新审视其功能，并首次系统梳理了林语堂幽默风格的生成机制及其文化意义。

Abstract
Liang Yutang, as a significant writer and cultural scholar in modern Chinese literary history, is renowned for his unique humorous style and profound cultural connotations, providing rich textual resources for cross-cultural exchange. This study aims to explore the humorous style in Liang Yutang's works and its underlying cultural implications by analyzing his linguistic artistry, ideological ex pression, and social context, thereby revealing the role of humor in cultural communication. Employing a combination of close reading and comparative analysis, this research selects representative works such as Moment in Peking and The Importance of Living as case studies, conducting an in-depth examination from three dimensions: linguistic form, narrative strategy, and social critique. The findings indicate that Liang Yutang's humorous style integrates Eastern wisdom with Western humor theory, reflecting both the inheritance of traditional Confucian and Taoist cultures and the incorporation of modern thought and ex pression. This cross-cultural humor not only bridges the gap between Eastern and Western readers but also effectively communicates the core values of Chinese culture. The innovation of this study lies in treating humor as a cultural medium and re-examining its function from a communication studies perspective, while systematically elucidating the formation mechanism and cultural significance of Liang Yutang's humorous style for the first time.
