Abstract: This article conducts in-depth research on pig wheezing disease, aiming to provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of pig wheezing disease. Swine wheezing disease is an infectious disease caused by Mycoplasma, which seriously affects the growth, development, and production efficiency of pigs. This article provides a detailed explanation of the overview, etiology, and prevention and control strategies of pig wheezing disease. Through the identification and classification of pathogens, it was found that the main pathogen of porcine wheezing disease is Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. This pathogen has unique biological characteristics and pathogenic mechanisms, which can cause symptoms such as cough and asthma in pigs, and has a wide distribution and transmission pathway. This article proposes various methods for the prevention and control of pig wheezing disease, including vaccination, immunization measures, enclosure environment management and pathogen control, antibiotic treatment, and antibiotic resistance monitoring. The effective implementation of these methods will contribute to the prevention and treatment of pig wheezing disease, ensuring the healthy development of the pig industry and public health safety.
