Abstract
This study aims to explore the influence of emotional factors on oral English teaching for English majors. Based on affective teaching theory and second language acquisition theory, this paper makes a comprehensive investigation and analysis of English majors by using quantitative and qualitative research methods. By means of questionnaire survey, classroom observation and interview, we systematically collected the emotional data of students in the process of oral learning, and carried out in-depth statistical analysis. The results show that emotional factors play a crucial role in oral English learning, in which positive emotions can significantly improve students' oral ex pression ability, while negative emotions may become an obstacle to oral progress. This study further reveals the correlation between emotional factors and oral English performance, which provides strong empirical support for oral English teaching. The innovation point lies in the comprehensive use of a variety of research methods, a comprehensive and in-depth discussion of the mechanism of emotional factors, and put forward specific teaching suggestions.
