Abstract
With the increasing global attention to sustainable development and environmental protection, the application of green building evaluation system in project management has been widely concerned. The green building evaluation system is not only a set of standards or guidelines to evaluate the environmental, social and economic benefits of construction projects, but also a key tool to promote the development of the construction industry in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable direction. This paper deeply discusses the application of green building evaluation system in project management, aiming to reveal how to promote the green transformation and sustainable development of engineering projects through scientific and systematic evaluation mechanism. In the engineering project management, the application of green building evaluation system is mainly reflected in the following aspects. First, it promotes sustainable design and construction, providing architects, designers and construction teams with a set of guidelines to follow to encourage the use of renewable energy, reduce energy consumption, reduce water waste and other green technologies to improve the environmental benefits of building projects.
