Abstract
This paper focuses on "Analysis of the application prospect of tidal power generation technology in coastal areas", and comprehensively discusses the application potential and development trend of tidal energy as a clean and renewable energy in coastal areas. With the continuous growth of global energy demand and the increasingly severe environmental problems, tidal power generation technology is gradually paid attention to because of its unique advantages. As the most abundant area of tidal energy resources, the application prospect of tidal energy power generation technology is particularly broad in coastal areas. The basic principle and characteristics of tidal power generation technology are analyzed in this paper. Tidal power generation uses the tidal phenomenon generated by the gravitational effect of the moon and the sun on the earth, through the construction of tidal power stations, the use of tidal fluctuations to promote the rotation of the turbine, and then drive the generator to generate electricity. The technology has the characteristics of renewable, clean and predictable, and the coastal area is rich in tidal energy resources, and the development potential is huge. In this paper, the application status of tidal power generation technology in coastal areas is discussed. At present, many countries and regions in the world have built tidal power stations in coastal areas and realized the commercial application of tidal energy. In China, coastal areas such as Zhejiang, Fujian and other places have also built a number of tidal power stations, accumulated rich practical experience. The successful operation of these power stations not only provides the local clean power resources, but also promotes the development of the local economy and the improvement of the ecological environment. The application prospect of tidal power generation technology in coastal areas is prospected in this paper.
