Abstract：Through the in-depth study of Su Shi's ci works, this paper discusses the scholar character and life philosophy contained in it. As an important representative of literature in the Song Dynasty, Su Shi's poetry not only plays an important position in the history of literature, but also shows his unique scholar temperament and profound thinking on life. This paper first summarizes Su Shi's life experience, the stage of ci writing creation and the overall characteristics, which lays a foundation for the subsequent analysis. Then, from the perspective of the scholar character, this paper analyzes Su Shi's perseverance in the predicament, the criticism and satire of the social reality, the persistence and ex pression of the independent personality, and the dedication to the ideal and pursuit. When discussing the philosophy of life in Su Shi's poems, he focuses on his perception of the impermanence of life, his profound insight into the ups and downs of life, his detachment of fame and wealth and the pursuit of life interest. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the interaction between Su Shi's literary character and life philosophy. The display and deepening of the scholar character is not only reflected in the adversity and unworldly feelings, but also deepened in the exploration and ex pression of life philosophy. The exploration and ex pression of life philosophy further reflects the harmonious coexistence of nature and life, and the emotion and philosophy of life is like a dream. This kind of blending and sublimation of scholar character and life philosophy, jointly cast the literary treasure of Su Shi's poetry. This paper discusses the influence of Su Shi's ci on later generations, including the shaping of song Ci style, the influence on later literati, and the enlightenment and influence on modern people. Su Shi's ci works not only provide valuable literary heritage for the later generations, but also inspire people to insist on themselves in difficulties, keep sober in the secular world, and pursue truth and beauty in life with their unique scholar character and philosophy in life.
