Abstract 
With the rapid development of the digital economy, the security and convenience of the payment system as a core component of the financial infrastructure has become a key factor in the development of the industry. In recent years, blockchain technology, with its decentralized, immutable, transparent and open characteristics, has provided a new solution for the security and efficiency of the payment system. This paper aims to explore the design and application of secure payment system based on blockchain technology, in order to provide reference for payment innovation in the financial industry. The design of a secure payment system based on blockchain technology aims to meet users' needs for payment security, convenience and real-time by building a decentralized, secure and trusted payment environment. The system uses distributed ledger, consensus mechanism, encryption algorithm and other technical means in blockchain technology to ensure that every transaction in the payment process can be completely and accurately recorded, and cannot be tampered with or forged. At the same time, the system also has high concurrent processing capacity, can support large-scale transaction requests, and ensure the real-time and accuracy of transactions.
